My Review

There are books that leave you hanging in a cliff, Love Hurts was one of them, though I decided to give it a try, to see if I was going to like or love this book.

I have mixed feelings again, but I can say I loved this book... The progression is incredible and the way the characters grow and become waiser to take decisions, whoa! Is great.

If you read my review of Love Hurts, you can see that I hated Frankie's character, at this point... I hate her less, and I'm still loving Deacon.

Is really hard find words, because in this book something unexpected happened that left me crying so much and I feel it! I FEEL IT! And when I feel something really deeply, man, I can't just like the book, or the story or the characters because something inside me just feels connected to the book, and that is something that always give me a good feeling from a book.

I can't tell you how much I loved Deacon, his feelings, are the truest and the battles he's facing? He's a winner no matter what. And the way Mandi wrote this book, damn, I'm still thinking about... I can't believe this is just her second book!
I'm really looking forward to her next projects.

And though I didn't tell you that much about the story, if you believe in redemption, and that love burns you when you less expect it... and you love a hot alpha, with a sexy dirty mouth and a love story with a chemistry between the characters that is going to burn your body... yeah this is your book. Author Bio

Mandi Beck has been an avid reader all of her life. A deep love for books always had her jotting down little stories on napkins, notebooks, and her hand. As an adult she was further submerged into the book world through book clubs and the epicness of social media. It was then that she graduated to writing her stories on her phone and then finally on a proper computer.

A nursing student, mother to two rambunctious and somewhat rotten boys, and stepmom to two great girls away at college, she shares her time with her husband in Chicago where she was born and raised. Mandi is a diehard hockey fan and blames the Blackhawks when her deadlines are not met.

Love Hurts is her debut novel and she is currently working on the next in the series along with whatever other voices are clamoring for attention in her mind.
