My Review

Third Base is the first book in The Bad Boys of Summer Series. One of the many and not the last of Heidi's books I love.

I'm a huge fan of sports, and thought I really suck understanding baseball I love it! And I loved it in this book! Heidi found away to capture me to the beginning till the end, and the journey was incredible.

Ethan is a raising baseball star, he's been dealing and trying to get used to the world of fame he's starting to live, and of course it has its pros and cons... He somehow manage to find a way to deal with everything. But with this comes also a situation, he's been watching this girl, a huge fan that never misses a game, he notices her and he feels attracted to her. Just is not that easy, he finds the courage to ask her in a date and they try to manage the beginning of a relationship and the side of Ethan's fame that is always hanging heavy upon their heads.

But Daisy has secrets, secrets that can threat what they have, and is not that easy. The ride is emotional and entertaining, Heidi has an exceptional way to put you in state where you don't know what is going to happen, but you know that is going to be good.

Told from a male's POV. Ethan's POV, I found refreshing reading a character who didn't have everything that easy, we can feel the realness here, and we can feel them! I have to say that is very entertaining know Ethan's head, he's unique and I can say is a lovable person with his flaws, and that's what makes him more beautiful.

About Daisy, it was not that easy to catch up with her head. What I mean is, sometimes she felt far away from the person Ethan's described, but I think it was me adjusting to the way he described her and their interactions. I can assure you're going to love her too, she's very unique in her own way, and you will feel what I felt, the good in how they found their HEA.

Can't wait to read more about this series! Another one that I know will be a favorite!
