  Synopsis
Once Rose Fisher makes a decision, that’s it. End of story.
Like when her ex, Patrick, dumped her out of the blue, then showed up with a super hot, tatted up sex kitten on his arm. Then it was over for good. The end. Poof. Dead to her. Except he was everywhere — down the hall, at the bar with their friends, worming his way into her dreams.
But with their friends paired off, they’re left alone more and more. Rose is determined to keep him friendzoned — doesn’t matter that he stares at her with a smolder that drops all panties in a ten foot radius. She’s over him, and she’ll prove it by getting back into the dating game, Patrick be damned.
Patrick Evans is no stranger to consequences. When your mother walks out, your dad drifts away. When you leave home, you’re on your own. And when you run away from the girl you love, you lose her. He finally has an opportunity to rebuild the bridge he burned, and it’s not one he’ll take for granted. But he’ll have to fight for her, even if it hurts. Even if it means he’ll walk away brokenhearted. Because deep down, he knows that she’s it for him.
The trick will be to get her to admit she feels it too.
Last Call is more than a simple book.
Is more than two broken people who find on each other salvation.
Is more than miss someone and being scared to tell them.
Because if I know something is that sometimes we need to let go that past that hold us and live our lives the best we can, but I know... is not easy.

Last Call is the kind of book that has your heart beating fast.
The kind of book where the reason of your tears are because you relate to the story or because you're feeling it deep inside you.
Is not only the angst that holds you to the breaking point. Is also the unspoken words, the longing feelings between Tricky and Rose that are more than they think.
Is more than the goosebumps I had on my body cause I was feeling everything, a love so deep and scarred, and a sad heart.

Reading about Tricky, sometimes was like looking at myself in a mirror...

"I’d never been lonely, not until I found love in my friends. Because once you have something, you can lose it. It almost makes you wonder if it’s easier to be alone."

Tricky and Rose are humans, are flawed. They way they loved each other so powerful that sometimes I felt like a voyeur... And to me that is what is beautiful about this book too, you can relate and there is more realness and truth in every single word. Tricky and his loyalty, his big heart.
"Outside, she was cool and confident. Inside, she was on fire."
Rose with her wild and kind spirit, someone you would love to have as a friend.

"I want to want her. I want to hurt and pay for my mistakes. I want her to punish me just as much as I want her to forgive me, but that’s only been killing the both of us. I can’t pretend that I don’t want all of her, and I’m not going to anymore.”

The storyline, how everything worked... Staci didn't rush anything. She gives you time, and then BAM! She gives you what you wanted, even if you weren't looking for that.
Read a glimpse about Lily and West, Maggie and Cooper, the gang and new characters were the perfect compliment and added more sustancia to the book.
I hope my words are enough to describe this book, I invite you to read so you can experience the same I experienced.
Last Call, was like meeting that old friend you don't get to see all the time, but when you do is like time hasn't past at all.

5 big stars to Last Call!

About the Author

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom; she has three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife; even though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. Her favorite word starts with f and ends with k.

From roots in Houston, to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
